I hope you can find what you need on your Patterson line!

Your name looks familiar to me, Have we corresponded before? It could have been the Cairnes?

If you look at the center of the Edwards Chart, on the lowest line, you will see James Smythe Douglas of Rosebrook who married Martha daughter of William Osborne, {This is my Connection!} they begat Georgina Osborne Douglas who married John Edward Phair. John and Georgina begat Olive Muriel Phair who married George Presley Speer Sr., my father being George Presley Speer Jr. My family settled in San Francisco, CA.
