We are writing a book on the 2nd Afghan War and anxious to trace the whereabouts of a memorial to Lt Col James Galbraith of the 66th Regiment who was killed at the battle of Maiwand 27th July 1880. It is believed to be a marble frieze in a church in the Limavady area.

If someone could give us details of
a) the church
b) the inscriptions
c) a digital photo

we would be extremely grateful
