Hi Harriet, I have all the Mack/Wall Genealogy information for you.
Michael Mack DOB 1820 Limerick Ireland, married Sarah Wall I think in Limerick. Thier youngest child Sarah Mack is my ggrandmother, on her death certificate she states she was born October 12, 1869. The original family name was indeed McNamara, aound the middle 1870's the name was shortened to Mack. Most of the land records for this family all were registered as McNamara. I haven't found an obituary for Michael Mack, but he died July 8, 1887 in North Adams.

Mrs Sarah Wall Mack, widow of the late Micheal Mack died at her home, 188 River St last Monday, age 77 years
Mrs Mack was born in Limerick County Ireland and came to the United States with her husband and children in 1867. They made Thier home in North Adams and have lived Thier ever since. Just four weeks before Mrs Mack's death her daughter Margaret died. This loss seemed to weigh heavily upon the aged mother and three weeks later when she was taken ill she seemed to have little power to throw off the disease and her death soon followed. Mrs Mack was a kindly hearted woman who was respected by all her Neighbors and acquaintances. Her life was well spent and in her quiet humble way she conscientiously fulfilled her Dailey duties. She is survived by two daughters and five sons, one of whom is Officer Maurice Mack.
All this Genealogy is posted on the Ancestory.com web site, under my family tree Barry/Conlon, I have most of the Mack information in Massachusetts, but I've never been able to pin piont them back in Ireland
Edward Wall died January 20, 1884 in North Adams, his wife was Mary McDonough
