Looking for any information or connection to John Murphy
McInnerney b. Sept.3, 1829 in Pallasgreen Parish, Limerick
to Timothy McInnerney and Mary Murphy McInnerney. He was
baptized into the Church at Pallasgreen on Sept. 13, 1829.
He came to the USA between 1850-1860 and settled near St.
Louis, MO on a farm. He enlisted in the Confederate Army
at the beginning of the American Civil War. He was wounded
and captured on 3 different occasions. He met his future wife
Jane Mildred Glenn while in the hospital and later married
her at Aberdeen, MS where he lived until he died Oct. 25,
1884. We have info that his home in Ireland was called
Castlegarde. Is there a town there or was this an estate that he lived on? Will appreciate any info anyone can share
with me on this. He was my wifes Great Great Grandfather.
Thanks in advance. Thomas D. Brasfield
