I may have responded to another of your posts.
I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 12,000,000 surviving rcds for abt 65% of Irish counties. Rcds B4 1840 are sparse, B4 1800 rare. Shannagolden rcds don't begin until 1824.
For John Dunn B 1810 +/- 4 yrs in Limerick, I found 4 B rcds: 1809, 2-1810, & 1812.
For Margaret Burns B 1814 +/- 4 yrs in Limerick, I found 7 B rcds: 3-1810, 1812, 1814, 1816 & 1818.
For a John & Margaret M 1840 +/- 4 yrs, I found 7 M rcds for John: 2-1838, 1840, 3-1841, and 2 1844. For Margaret there are 6 M rcds: 2-1836, 3-1840, & 1842. The yr 1840 is the only possible match. Searching by parish I found matching M rcds in the parish of Kilcornan & Stonehall. These are likely your ancestors. A view of the detailed rcd will show if the marriage is to each other. If so, it SHOULD reveal their parents' names.
For John B 1845 +/- 4 yrs in Limerick with a father named John, I found 5 B rcds: 2-1843, 1844, 1845 & 1846. The rcds closest to 1840 are the most likely.
For Pat(rick) B 1847 ditto, I found 1 B rcds: 1849.
For Mary B 1849 ditto, I found 3 B rcds: 1845, 1849 & 1852.
For John Shea B 1790 +/- 4 yrs, I found 2 B rcds: 1790 & 1792. The 1st had a father named Dennis, the 2nd Michael.
Google the Foundation's name to lead you to the database. Register, opt to be notified as rcds are added and browse. Pls post your search results to my genforum msg.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
