I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains surviving rcds for Limerick. Rcds B4 1840 are sparse. Many events weren't rcd'd, or were lost.
For Bridget Dooley B 1835 +/- 4 yrs, I found 6 matches. A view of the detailed rcd(s) should show whether it has the right parents.
For Batholomew Carmody B 1838 +/- 4 yrs, I found 0 matches in all Limerick. A review of the "sources" shows that Ardagh parish rcds don't begin until 1845. Unless someone discovers a trove of hidden/forgotten rcds, it looks like this rcd may be lost in the mists of time.
There is a slim chance that Bartholomew's rcd may have been rcd'd on microfilm by the LDS B4 the 1970's and the original rcds lost since then. You can access the microfilms at an LDS Family History Center.
Good luck on your Bridget. Just google the Foundation's name to lead you to the database.
