I still keep in touch with some of my dad's cousins and their children (our second cousins), mainly Robert Allen (who is my realty lawyer!), his wife Laura, and their two daughter Lucy and Gracie. My only first cousin on my dad's side grew up in Oregon, a long ways away from Chicago, so I don't know him very well.I have a lot of information on my ancestry.com account, you can find me at username: MattByrn.I've made contact with some other cousins one in Texas and another in Colorado, and even one distant relative living in England. As far as the relatives in Ireland who stayed back, I've heard they really don't care! This is from previous relatives who went to Ireland (mainly Mullingar, County Westmeath where the Byrne's are from).Another side is from Knockulcare, County Limerick. In fact, the man from England, David Scanlon, is associated with Bridget Savage from County Limerick.I don't have any children under your grandmothers name on my tree so if you're on Ancestry.com, I could easily pull it over and connect the dots! How old are you, by the way?I'm 34, my wife Liz is 33, and we have a 4 years old daughter Ella.Email might be easier: [email protected] to you soon!
