Decided to share my Kirby family line for others, perhaps of help to other searchers.. To date I have learned:

John Kirby b. mid to late 1700's. Lived in Baggotstown, Parish of Knockainy, Co. Limerick, Ireland. No other info to date.

Maurice Kirby, John's son, born turn of the century. Married Mary Ryan on Feb. 13, 1825, Hospital Parish, Limerick, Ireland.

Children born to Maurice and Mary:
Margaret Kirby Baptized Hospital Parish, Co., Limerick March 13, 1826
Following children were Baptized in the Emly RC Parish, Tipperary Co, Ireland. Maurice and Mary Kirby had moved to Emly by this point in their lives.

John Kirby Baptized Emly Parish Sept. 2, 1830
Michael Kirby Baptized Emly Parish Sept. 8, 1833
Margaret Kirby Baptized Emly Parish April 28, 1836
Catherine Kirby Baptized Emly Parish Oct. 28, 1838
Mary Kirby Baptized Emly Parish Dec. 19, 1841
Maurice Kirby Baptized Emly Parish Oct. 15, 1844
James Kirby Baptized Emly Parish Oct. 6, 1845

Of these children born to Maurice and Mary, John, Margaret b. 1836, Catherine, Mary, and possibly Maurice, immigrated to Cleveland, Ohio USA. Immigration took place between 1850 and 1864. Not sure about Michael and James.
One of the boys did remain in Emly, Ireland as my grgr grandmother Catherine was known to correspond with them.

Hope this is helpful to someone. Regards, Kim
