McGowans from Kinlough, County Leitrim

I am looking for anyone who could help find information about my ggg-grandparents, Daniel and Rose McGowan. An insurance application from one of their daughters indicated that she came from Kinlough. Daniel died of Typhoid Fever sometime in the mid 1860s in Ireland, and Rose emigrated to the US and settled in the Attleborough, Mass. area. She appears on the 1880 Attleborough census with adult children: Barbara (27), Rose (24), Terrence (29??), and Kate (21). There was also another daughter named Bridget (b. ~1849), married 1877 to John Turley in Attleborough, and possibly a Maggie/Margaret. The family would have been Catholic.

Thank you so much for any help. Feel free to contact me directly at: wiers@bellsouth.net
