While reading through a surname list on County Leitrim, ran across a reference to a marriage between an Armstrong and a Sadlier. Other names this list: Booth, Brown, Dolan, Moore. Need any help available on connection between Saddler/Sadler/Sadlier and Armstrong. My great grandfather's name was John Armstrong Sadler and we're surmising his middle name was from his mother's side. He was born 1826 in SC, or so we've been told. Do not know if family came from England or Ireland but have many given names matching those of English & Irish ancestry. Thanks for any leads!
