Hi Elizabeth !

WOW, after all these years and I got a reply, lol ... Thank You !

Well, from what I can see at this point, their parents names are not the same as my G-Grandparents names...

Mine are: Francis Kivlan and Maria Kivlan and I have my GGrandmother's maiden name written down somewhere, but that name you have isn't it...

I have confirmed this information from the link at this site:

Co Leitrim, Ireland 1901 Census records

you will seen that my GGrandparents and all the siblings are listed with the exception of the Oldest sister "Helen Margaret "Maggie" Gallagher (nee Kivlan)" as she had already moved out from what we can tell... Wasn't in the USA until 1905, might have traveled here back an forth a few times, but those details are sketchy yet....

It's possible that your Kivlan's are related to my GGrandfather tho... That I don't know yet.... But I do have contact with a direct 1st cousin currently living in NY that I met thru working on my Genealogy... She is a Kivlan and her father was my "Grandmother's" baby brother, John Kivlan... He was the last of the 8 children in the family and the 3rd to only come over to the USA that we know of....

I have a website with some more updated information than I originally posted on my first message back from April 2002... Here is the link:

If you want to email me directly, please feel free to, but be sure you put something Catchy in the SUBJECT line, or I wont see it's from you....(Don't want it to go to my spam box)
