Reilly near Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim

I am researching the Reilly family from Mullinadarragh and currently Beagh More Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim.

My gg grandparents were Michael Reilly (c1798-1866) and Catherine Reilly (nee Natty)(c1805-1878). Michael appears on Griffiths in Mullinadarragh.

Michael and Catherine had at least 2 sons John Reilly(c1842-?) and my g-grandfather James Reilly

My g-grandfather James Reilly(c1845-?) married Mary Connolly(c1847-?). They had 7 children:
Catherine Smith (nee Reilly)(c1879-c1962)
Michael Reilly (c1883-?)
James Reilly (c1885-?)
Patrick Reilly (c1887-1970)
Arthur Reilly(1889-1967) (my grandfather)
John Reilly (c1891-?)
Peter Reilly (c1895-1960)

All children except Peter emigrated to Quebec Canada. Later Catherine, John, James and Arthur emigrated to the US (Massachusetts). My grandfather Arthur later moved from Massachusetts to Chicago where he married my grandmother. It is believed that Michael stayed in Quebec (Montreal?). Patrick left Canada after many years and returned to Beagh More Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim where he raised a family.

If any of this rings a bell, let me know.
Joe Reilly
