i am researching wallace/walsh of mountrath. ancestor john f. wallace born in mountrath abt 1830. married julia walsh, also of mountrath, also born abt 1830. her parents were james walsh and catherine ?. john wallace and julia walsh married abt 1848 and had two sons before emigrating to windsor locks, connecticut, usa. sons were john- born abt 1849 and james, born 1851 and died dec. 24, 1852. john sr emigrated in 1852, julia and son john in 1853. children born in us- mary, matthew, william, finton, fannie (frances), james (ii), julia and joseph. john f. wallace also had an older brother named thomas and a younger brother named finton. "finton" name is repeated several times through this extended family.
