I have 5 or 6 James' & 4 Thomas' they are major names. I was hoping for James Watson or a Caleb but they might be on
another branch! Or out of fashion. Mine spread across Laois & Tipperary with excusions into other counties as well. If you could get anyone to look at the Rathdowney church records or Donaghymore, for MASON entries you might find yours, that's the main areas for Laois. There was a James at Mountmellick as well. Women were Hannah, Phoebe, Rebecca, Mary & lots not named. (Only women, why mention them)I am rather muddled about them as most info is based on family talk & some old papers where I am not always sure which James/Thos etc they mean. I think some were Quakers at least for a time. Ring any bells?
