Hello James:

For James Clair M ????, Co. Laois or Kildare, I found 3 possible rcds: 1838 Laois, 1855 Kildare, 1863 Laois, and 1868 Kildare. The 1838 Laois rcd matches the similar one for Catherine below:

For Cat(herine) O'Connell M ditto, I found 1 possible match in 1838, Stradbally RC parish. This and James' rcd are highly likely to be for these ancestors. A view of the detailed rcd MAY confirm this. If so, then the detailed rcd USUALLY shows their parents' names.

For Mary Clair B after 1843 +/- 5 yrs, Co. Laois or Kildare, with a father forenamed James, I found 2 rcds: 1839 Kildare, and 1846 Laois.

For Wil(liam) Clair B ditto, I found 1 rcd, 1841 Kildare.

For John Clair B ditto, I found 2 rcds: 1844 Kildare, and 1848 Laois.

For Cat(herine) O'Connell B 1819 +/- 4 yrs, Co. Laois, with the father's forename unknown, I found 2 rcds: 1820 Stradbally, and 1823 Portarlington RC parishes. Father's respective forenames were Terence and Christopher.

For James Clair B 1817 ditto, Co. Kildare, I found 0 rcds.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
