Walter Kelly to USA, S. Carolina 1751, w/Quaker Group

Hello,

Looking for information, maybe kinfolk w/surname Kelly of my 5th Ggrandfather Walter Kelly. He was living in County Kildare before departing from Dublin to South Carolina USA in 1751 with a Quaker Group but I'm guessing he was from County Laois & Timahoe, Kildare was a gathering place before the ship sailed to America.

Are there any Male Kelly's still living in the area who have taken a Y-DNA test that I could compare my Y-37 marker test results with.

Or perhaps there are some Kelly's buried in the local cemetery, probably Quaker.

I test R1b1c Haplogroup and am in Group 10 of the Oxford Genetic Atlas Project (OGAP10) inhabiting Ireland and the west coast of the Isle of Manx.

Other Kelly's onboard the same ship were a Samuel Kelly & a Timothy Kelly but I am not sure of their kinship.

A son of Timothy Kelly married a Milhouse girl from Timahoe, Kildare (Ithink after arriving in America).

Thanks for any/all help.

George Leon Kelly
