I am still seeking information of how my paternal grandfather Timothy Joseph Loughman came to the United States in 1870 and ended up in San Francisco, CA. where he married an Ann Maloney in 1878. He was born in Queen's County (Co. Laois) on December 25, 1850. From what port in Ireland did he embark from? At what city or state did he disembark? What was the ship's name?
