Hi Tom
firstly thank you for looking in the book for information for me. My grandfathers name was Henry Crawley. In 1911 the census shows him as residing with Constable John Riordan, Constable Patrick Morrisroe and Sgt John Corcoran in Ballinakill barracks. He was the census officer in this census so I have his signature (I never knew either grandparent as they died at a very young age)and my grandmother shows as a shopkeeper on Stanhope Street(she was a draper) - her name was Kate Mulvey. They married at Ballinakill RC church in June 1912 so my imagination lets me think that the census was how they met. When in Ballinakill last year I found Stanhope St but have no idea whereabouts the drapery shop was.
Any info you can add I will be very grateful. thanks again Kath Crawley
