My gg grandmother Bridget, also known as "Biddy" died of debility (old age) at the age of 75.Thomas Egan and Bridget's marraige was witnessed by Catherine Sinnot and John Bryant. Their last place of residence in Ireland was in Ossary Hill, Kilkenny.
He may have been the Thomas Egan (or son, Thomas) that was mentioned in the Primary Valuation compiled in September 1849 (No: PV14/5, Page 78) as head of the house. Thomas and Bridget, along with youngest son's, Patrick, Dennis and James, and his Grandson Martin, left Plymouth, England on 24 MAR 1858 on the "Atalanta". The ship arrived in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on 09 JUN 1858 .
