Frank Cody was born in Belleville, Michigan, Dec. 31, 1870. His father was Timothy M. Cody, who arrived from Kilkenny, Ireland in 1837 and settled in the Dearborn, Michigan, area. Frank's mother was Clarissa Kipp.
Frank married, in 1901, Frances Youngblood - who died in 1902. In 1905 he married Louise Burns, daughter of Joseph Burns of Detroit.
