Seek info on Martin and his parents. He was a witness to a Holohan marriage in 1834 Castlecomer.
Is he any relation to a John Burk/e born 1746, possibly in County Kilkenny, who was impressed by the British Navy and served for awhile before escaping and going to America?
Sometime between 1800 and 1809 John Burk/e visited his hometown and family. Ballyragget or Castlecomer may have been his hometown.
