I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 11,500,000 surviving rcds for abt 60% of Irish counties. Co. Kilkenny is in the database. Abt 1/2 of the parishes have rcds dating B4 1830.

For Patrick O'Neil, I found 3 B rcds for the yr 1829. The associated parishes are: Callan, Gowran, and Paulstown.

For a Patrick O'Neil marriage in 1854, I found 1 M rcd in the county. This was in Callan parish. However, for a marriage of Bridget or Delia Sullivan, I found 0 rcds in the county. Broadening the search to ALL Sullivan marriages in 1854, there was 1. The forename was Judith. The associated parish was Callan. This match MAY or MAY NOT be for your ancestors. A view of the detailed rcd will show whether the marriage was to each other. If so, the rcd is validated.

If validated, the rcd MAY show the parents' names, addresses, etc. This can be used to validate the B rcd.

With parents names, and perhaps addresses, you can begin to search for siblings.

Good luck.
