William Paul Warren, Grangebegg, co Kildare -
was he connected to Nathaniel Warren of Stillorgan, Dublin ?

Col. John Allen b. Dublin 13 Feb 1661, served in King William's army and regained possession of the Stillorgan (south Dublin, Ireland) estate which had been confiscated by King James. He purchased lands at Bullock and at Dalkey (nr Stillorgan).

Col. John Allen m. 1684 Mary Fitzgerald (d.1692), sister of 19th Earl of Kildare. On 9 Oct 1714 Col. Allen was made a Privy Councillor and on 28 Aug 1717 made "Baron Allen of Stillorgan and Visc. Allen of Kildare". He died in London 8 Nov 1726 and buried St. James's Church, Dublin, Ireland.
They had sons, Joshua, Robert and Richard Allen.

Robert Allen b.1687 d. 16 Dec 1741 Yorke Street, Dublin,
m. 1707 Frances Johnson, and they had 3 daus,
a) Mary Allen m. 1732 Robert Boswell and they had son
...John Boswell who m. Frances Coote, sister of
...Charles Coote, Earl of Bellamont, Ireland
... ( Charles Coote, Governor? of New York )

b) Frances Allen m. 3 April 1738 to
...William Paul Warren of Grangebegg, co Kildare, Ireland,
...and had a son Richard Warren, d.s.p.
