My Great Grandpa LP Lalor came from Castledermot in CO Kildare, a small place right by Davidstown. LP came over to NJ in the 1870's and wrote in his little journal the name of a Richard H (Harmon?) living at 91 Pine Street in Auburn. LP's father was James Lalor b. 1828 (Castledermot) and his mother was Mary Harmon b. about 1830 in Davidstown Pilsworth. LP's Great Grandmother was a Catherine Murphy, born in the 1700's. Also, there was a past Mayor of Newark, NJ (probably in the 1940's or 1950's) named Vincent Murphy who was a cousin of my Grandpa Lalor. I have the name of a genealogist in Castledermot who might have a lot of information about your family.
