McCown or Spelling variants in Fermanagh
Posted by: William McCown (ID *****2029) Date: July 30, 2009 at 10:00:07

I am seeking to contact anyone with a spellinag variant of McCown who lives in or is from Fermanagh. My Y-DNA values at 37 and 67 markers are all related to the Maguire Clan in Fermanagh and Cavan Counties. The purpose of the contact is to find someone with those qualifications willing to take the Family Tree Y-DNA test or who is willing to find out more about it. A genealogical package is being prepared for submeittal to Dr. William Roulston, Chief of Research, Ulster Heritage Foundation but he needs more matches to work with. This would be a case study on using a combination of Y-DNA and conventional documentation to connect between ancestors in America and ancestors in or from Fermanagh.
