We are trying to locate a point of origin for our Irish ancestor John (Francis?) Noble. We have been trying for years to find his County.
My cousin just located baptismal records of his children, born in Meriden, CT, all all of them specify Co. Fermanagh as his place of birth. The year of his birth is 1847. He came to America as an unaccompanied minor in the 1850s.
Where can we begin, using internet resources, to search for our John Noble, knowing his birth year and County Fermanagh?
