circa 1860's Dublin - Ross & Murray

I am researching a Dublin company called Ross and Murray. They are listed in the 1845 Dublin Almanac as:

Ross and Murray, plumbers, lead merchants and brass
founders, 10 Elephant Lane.

In the 1850 Dublin directory their location is 92
Upper Abbey St.

In addition, they have another factory in Balinasloe,
Galway according to the 1846 Slaters Directory of
Ireland.

In the 1845 Dublin Almanac there are a Peter Murray,
Esq. and a William Ross, Esq. listed in Rathmines.

Has anyone suggestions on now I can learn more about
this company? The internet only leads me to
directories. Also, if the Murray family was a member
of society as the 'Esq' would suggest then the
marriage may have been written about in the newspapers
of the time.

I live in Hawaii so do not have easy access to Irish
records and have not found any films at the LDS to
help me either. Suggestions are more than welcomed.

Mahalo
