Dublin DILLONs, descendants of Maria MacCABE & Michael DILLON

My first cousin twice removed William Henry DILLON was born in Dublin on 13 October 1869, son of Michael DILLON (a Stockbroker?) and Maria (born MacCABE). After Willie married Florence May COLQUHOUN (daughter of David T. COLQUHOUN, QC & his wife Margaret), on 11 January 1905 in London, he returned to Ireland with his bride and "took a house" at Carrickmines, Co. Dublin.

According to the 1911 Census Willie and Florence had a son Michael Edmund DILLON in 1906, at Rathdown, and a daughter Margaret Mary DILLON born about 1910 in Dublin. And then?

Where are they now? Dead and gone - but do they have living descendants?

I have discovered the fates of William Henry's siblings Mary and Edward (Eddie SJ) who gave their lives to the Catholic Church. Another brother was Shaun DILLON, last heard of working at a Catholic foundation in Tournai, Belgium, a hundred years ago. The fates of Willie's sisters Rosa DILLON, Kate DILLON, born 1866 in Dublin, Florence DILLON, born 18 January 1868 in Dublin and two more, and his brothers Charles DILLON and Frank DILLON remain a mystery - and there may have been other siblings!

Don Montague - whose great-grandmother was a MacCabe
