Hello Ben,

Do you know the denomination of your Smith family?

Featherstone wasn't a common name in Ireland.
There were three listed in Griffith's Primary Valuations.

It's a pity you don't know whether Catherine was single or widowed.

Griffiths Valuation - Galway 1855
Michael Featherstone, Rothermore, St. Nicholas. Galway

Griffiths Valuation - Mayo 1856-57
Godfrey Featherstone, Behy, Crossmolina. Mayo

Griffiths Valuation - Meath 1855
James Featherstone, Ballynaskea, Rathcore. Meath

There was also one Featherston family

Griffiths Valuation - Sligo 1858
Mark Featherston, Cuppanagh, Killaraght. Sligo

Christopher
