Wark, McAdoo and Finley. These families lived at Terrody Farm, Donegal, Ireland around the late 1700's early 1800's. Robert Wark and sons are found, in 1797, were working for the Hudson Bay Company. The family is found in Pa in 1813. Then found in Lancaster, Ohio. ***I need to find Robert Wark's parents info.*** He had brothers Joseph and Henry. Joseph and Robert changed their last name to Work in the states. Henry kept the original spelling. Now I am looking for info on William McCrone. He was passing thru Terrody and met Elizabeth McAddo. They married and had 3 children. Henry Ireland and Nancy. And Martha was born in Pa. William was a Loyalist and fled to Canada. Elizabeth moved with her 3 children to North Carolina with her Uncle, John McAdoo. Then traveled to Pa to live with James Finley, cousin to her friend, Jane Finley. (Robert Wark's wife?). When William McCrone ran out on them, Elizabeth's uncle John McAdoo (Capt John "Devil John" McAdoo) changed her last name to Crone. Martha Crone married David Work. Joseph Work married Nancy Crone and Henry Wark married Sarah McAdoo in Donegal, Ireland. Any info would be appreciated. Point me to websites, people, etc that would have this info. Debbie
