Hello Kyla,

I was looking through the 1911 Census for Donegal and there are several Kellys' in Drumcarbit, Malin.

Did your great grandfather Patrick die in Malin in 1920?

The registration for births, marriages and deaths started in 1864 for Catholics. Records were very badly kept. Ireland lost records through the civil war in 1922 and records were burned.

The 1911 Census are online to view for Donegal. Just Google 1911 Census Ireland and from there click on browse census, Malin then Drumcarbit.

The Malin Parish website is malinparish@hotmail.com

Good luck.
