Unfortunately, James Galvin (1845-October 1890) died at a relatively young age (45) of a brain tumor and in 1890 the death certificate (in Chicago, Ill) does not contain information about the parents, just the medical facts of his demise.

However, Johanna Curry (April 1854-August 1933)lived to be 79 years old and when she died in 1933 they did include the parents names (if known) her fathers name was "Daniel Curry of County Clare, Ireland", her mother's name was unkown, but her birthplace was listed as County Clare, Ireland.
