Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

The Maroney connection for me is Thomas b 1825, immigrated 1860 to Chicago, worked on the water tower and other buildings downtown as a brick layer. Lived in Bridgeport, Irish enclave on the south side of Chicago. Married Julia Dolan b 1845 in 187. Two boys, Patrick b 1873/d 1909 and Thomas b 1877 in Chicago.
