The Maroney connection for me is Thomas b 1825, immigrated 1860 to Chicago, worked on the water tower and other buildings downtown as a brick layer. Lived in Bridgeport, Irish enclave on the south side of Chicago. Married Julia Dolan b 1845 in 187. Two boys, Patrick b 1873/d 1909 and Thomas b 1877 in Chicago.
