Reached a dead end trying to find anything on my poor relatives! Brothers Thomas and James were in the USA c 1857..any clues I find go back to Clare...parents were Charles and Mary Murphy-- Griffiths puts them(Thomas and James)???in Clare in 1855 if this is them is a Thomas Pendergast in 1826 (uncle/father/ in 1826 Tithe Applotment I am guessing they were born c. 1825-1827..finding Charles the father would be helpful as well as any siblings..names of descendents include Charles, Henry , Edwards, Mary Joh, Franci, Ellen, Theresa Mark Leo Margaret over and over.
