Hello, Dale, I just came upon your message while searching for Moylans. I visited Ballyglass, Parish of Doora this past October, and found the lands of two Moylans and a McNamara in Ballyglass; I believe I am related to the Moylans at the least.

Ballyglass is not a large area, so it would seem that my ancestors were neighbors to the Fitzpatricks. I wonder if in your search, you have come across the Moylans or McNamaras.

I have map of the owners of the lands in Ballyglass in the Griffith's Valuation of 1855, and photos of the Moylan and McNamara lands in 2007.

I also visited with Jimmy Lynch and his wife, who currently own the Moylan lands.

Regards,

Pat McNamara
