Sally, take a look at the Co. Clare website a

From the home page, left click on genealogy. From the next page at "online records", scroll to 1) 1841-51 Census Search Forms 2) 1841 Application to Register of Freeholders and 3) 1820-1840's Tithe Applotment to mention a few. The entire site is a wealth of Co. Clare informaton.
