John and Margaret Carmody - County Clare circa 1800
Posted by: Thomas Carmody (ID *****7706) Date: October 31, 2005 at 06:47:03
  of 980

Looking for family information for John and Margaret Carmody, born about 1800. A "Margaret Carmody" from Kildysart Parish is mentioned in the 1835 report "Poverty Before the Famine."

John's parents were John and Ann (Hogan) Carmody, probably born in the 1765s?

John and Margaret's son, James C. Carmody, migrated to the US around 1850 and settled in Mt. Vernon, NY.

Thank you,
Tom Carmody
Roswell, GA via NY
