Hi Judy;

Thanks for responding. I don't know much about the McInerneys, unfortunately. Here's what I have. UNK McInerney m. Ann Houlihan, probably in Kilkee, Co. Clare, Ireland. Her death notice states she was from Kilkee. UNK McInerney is very likely from there also. They had a son, Johnny b.1848 in Massachusetts d.BEFORE 1933. UNK McInerney d. BEFORE 1858 as Ann Houlihan McInerney m. James Lamb approx. 1858 in Chicago. She was in Chicago by 1853. Here the story gets a little mirky. Either Ann's son John was in the Navy, traveled the world, sent postcards back to the family, married (wife unk), died in Florida. Or was that Ann's grandson? Was there even a grandson? So I am looking for 2, maybe 3 McInerneys, one for sure named Johnny. The Chicago McInerneys were still in touch w/the Chicago Lambs in the 1950's in Chicago at the funerals of the "old Irish". I'm looking to sort out great-grandma Lamb's (Ann Houlihan McInerney Lamb) "first" family and find out if there are any McInerney descendants. Now about your McInerneys...did they settle in Chicago? Or Massachusetts? Or?
