I am still searching for the birthplace address for my GG Grandfather Isaiah (Toole) Tole born circa 1799. I know that he was in Ontario, Canada prior to 1828. I recently found that he was a member of the Masonic Lodge #753 in Roosky, County Cavan, Ireland and became a regular Master Mason December 25, 1825 in that lodge. He was also given a document of recommendation "To Whom It May Concern" fromn Roosky Lodge #753 May 29, 1826. I don't know whether he was from Roosky but he must have spent some time there to be able to join the Lodge.
He was listed in Ontario as of the Weslayan Methodist faith but he could have been also Church of Ireland. Does anyone have any knowledge of these religions or churches in the Roosky area?
If anyone can give me any information or his possible address or where to search it would be much appreciated.
