Hello Reinhart,

Many thanks for all the helpful leads you have provided. I indeed am very grateful. At this stage I'm uncertain as to who was the eldest child of Stephen & Ann SOUTH - it may have been Patrick born about 1830.

I think the Irish naming pattern is identical to the Cornish naming pattern which probably is not surpring, both being Gaelic !
