Bally-something! undecipherable placename

I am trying to trace my ancestors, called Tierney, who emigrated to Yorkshire from Ireland around 1860. I believe they were from Cavan County (although Cork is also a possibility).

On the 1881 British census, their place of birth is listed as something which looks like "Ballymanis", "Ballymains" or "Ballymaris". Does anyone have any idea where this might be?

All suggestions gratefully received! Thank you very much.
