Looking for descendents of our Great Uncle George Lowe Webster who was a prominent Methodist Minister throughout Ireland from 1886 till his death Jan 10 1942. His wife, Alice Farquharson, an accomplished vocalist, died at the Cavan Manse on March 21, 1926. GEORGE WENT ON WITH HIS MINISTRY TO Galway, Athlone and Limerick. We think both are buried in Cavan and we would like to locate and photo their gravesite.
Also, we would like to reconnect with any descendents of George and Alice. Kathleen Agnes (b. 1893) married William James Forrest July 5, 1916 at Abbeyleix; George Henry Douglas (b. 1895); Mabel Eleanor (1896) at Maryborough, Alice Edith (1898)in Maryborough; Norah E. ( ? ); Enid Jessie (1909).
George was born near Myshall, Co Carlow, along with a sister and seven brothers, each of which ended up immigrating to various parts of the world. There has been no contact with Georges family since his death and 600 descendents would like to reconnect with them. Can anyone help ? COLIN in CANADA.
