Hopefully this information will be of use to you.

Thomas Gayton married Jane Fisher at St. Patrick’s Church of Ireland, Ballymacarrett, Belfast, on 2 October 1865. Thomas Gayton was the son of William Gayton and Jane Fisher was the daughter of John Fisher.

Their daughter Mary Caroline Gayton was born in Belfast on 15 Sep 1868 and their daughter Evelyn Gayton was born in Belfast on 25 July 1870. They also had a daughter called Sarah Jane Boyd Gayton who married John ‘Kearns’ in Belfast in 1899.
Henrietta Gayton married George Michael ‘McLoughlin’ at St. Patrick’s Church of Ireland, Ballymacarrett, Belfast, on 2 April 1891.

The 1911 census finds Jane Gayton, nee Fisher, aged 77, living at 90 Holywood Road, East Belfast. She was a widow and born in Co. Down. Also living with her in 1911 were her two daughters Mary Caroline Gayton and Evelyn Gayton.

Thomas Gayton died in Belfast in 1890, aged 55, and Jane Gayton died in Belfast in 1921, aged 86.

The 1877 Belfast directory finds Thomas Gayton listed as a ‘fancy box maker’ and living at 105 Claremont Street, Belfast.
The 1901 Belfast directory finds ‘Mrs Gayton’ at 3 Connsbrook Terrace, Holywood Road, Belfast. The 1907 Belfast directory records her as being of Connsbrook Terrace, 90 Holywood Road, Belfast.
