Looking for any descendants/information re the following: a marriage in 1826 between James Short/t blacksmith and Elizabeth Shields, by license, C of I, Tynan Parish, witnesses: James Hamilton and Thomas Mills. Five years later in 1831, James Short/t leased for 20 years from James Donaldson of Derryhaw, Tynan Parish, County Armagh, 1 rood of land adjoining the house built by Short/t in Derryhaw. In 1864, James Short/t of Derryhaw occupied a house and forge leased from James Donaldson. The 1901 census indicates that the residents of a house 26 in Derryhaw was the family of Archibald Short, age 60, Church of Ireland, born in County Armagh, blacksmith.
Presumed to be family connected is a marriage in 1856 Tynan Parish John Short, blacksmith, Killylea, son of James, blacksmith, to Eliza Jane Busby, minor, College Hall, daughter of Archibald, farmer, by license, Witnesses: Alexander Lords, Robert Busby
