I am looking for correct parent info for:
Joseph A. Carbery *spelled after coming to USA as: Carberry/Cabery/Cabry* who was born 20 December 1865 in Lurgan.
He was one of 11 children.
He had brothers named Charles Edward (1866), John (1871), and James, don't know the rest of his siblings names; family story says that he had either 7 or 9 brothers who all came to USA at close but different times and settled in Rhode Island, New York State and elsewhere.
Joseph married in Lurgan RC church, Shankill Parish, Armagh in June of 1884 to Mary Ann Nicholson (believed to be d/o James Nicholson & Rose McConville) according to fam story their marriage was arraigned by the Parish Priest. Joseph & Mary immediately left for America shortly after; arriving in USA the same year. They settled in Cambridge, Massachusetts, then Dorchester, MA.
In the 1900 Census of Cambrige, MA Joseph and his family have a boarder named Thomas McCusker, age 20 from Armagh living with them who arrived in 1898.
In the 1910 Census for MA Joseph and his family have his brother John living with them, he arrived abt 1890, after that John disapears.
Joseph's brother Charles Edward Carbery left Armagh and went to Rhode Island.
In the 1930's Joseph's Granddaughter (My Great Aunt) remembers a relative of Joseph's coming to visit named Andrew Carbery; she is not sure if he was an Uncle of Joseph's or a brother or cousin.
Any help identifying Joseph's other siblings, even Joseph's middle name (A), and his correct Parents are greatly appreciated.
Joseph A. Carbery died in Aug. of 1953 in Dorchester, MA and was Waked at home on Brookvale Street, Dorchester, MA.
