Thanks for the looking. I think that this line is reaaly at the wall. Because of how early his immigration was I dont think there would be any record for it. Withoout knowing his father or her parents names, that route is done for rioght now. I did find what looked like a promising site, but after the third link it wanted me to sign up and pay for a membership in it. That is not an option now unfortunenatly. I still can not find where I got her last name of Carruthers from. There is no documentation that I can find. I think I will have to see where that reference to her church was, then procede down that line.

The PRONI site looks interesting, but have to figure it out. From what I have seen you have to be local to it to get anything you find. It reminds me of another place on another line, all they would do remotely was tell me if there was a record, just yes or no. Then to actually see a record I would have had to hiar a local researcher. I told them no thank you.
