I am knocking my head against a brick wall.. I am looking for a John McCollough / McCullough that was born about 1755 in Armagh, and died February 16, 1835 in Greene Co., PA.
He married a woman Sarah ?? not sure of her last name but someone said it was Hickman. She was also born about 1755 or so in Armagh and died September 26, 1846 in Greene Co., PA.
It is believed they migrated to the US around 1780.
They had a son they named Canada, b. 1770, Ireland; d. August 18, 1836, Greene Co., PA. as well as the following children.
ii. JOSEPH MCCOLLOUGH, b. 1776.
iii. JOHN MCCOLLOUGH, b. 1780.
iv. ELEANOR NELLIE MCCOLLOUGH, b. 1782.
v. MARY MCCOLLOUGH, b. 1784.
vi. ANNE MCCOLLOUGH, b. 1786.
vii. WILLIAM MCCOLLOUGH, b. 1788.
I am looking to find out what Sarah's maiden name was, her parents names, as well as John's parents names and if anyone knows when they migrated to the USA..
Any help would be greatly appreciated..
