I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 12,000,000 surviving rcds for abt 65% of Irish counties. Rcds are increasingly sparse B4 1840. Rare B4 1800.

For William Baird B 1856 +/- 1 yr in Armagh, I found 0 B rcds. The closest is in Co. Tyrone in 1856.

For Maria Blakeney B 1858 ditto, ditto. The closest is in Co. Cavan in 1858.

For William Baird M 1877 +/- 1 yr, I found 2 M rcds in 1877: Cos Armagh and Tyrone.

For Maria Blakeney M ditto, I found 1 M rcd in 1877, Co. Armagh.

These rcds are likely for your ancestors. A view of the detailed M rcds should show whether the marriage was to each other. The view SHOULD also show their parents' names.

B/M/D registration was civil after 1863. These rcds are kept by the Public Record Office for Northern Ireland. Google PRONI to lead you to its website.

Google the Foundation's name to lead you to the IFHF database. Pls post your search results to this genforum msg.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
