i appreciate the advice. her obituary listed her birthday as 7/25/1912 and i felt that was very accurate being that it was given by next of kin at the time but some census records mention 1814 as her year of birth. its not that important. i will follow your advice and try to search for the marriage certificate. thanks again for all of your help. i will let you know what i find
