Hi Deb,
Thanks for responding to my earlier e-mail. Yes, we live in Canada - Alberta. The Andrews family from which I am descended is that of Mathew Andrews (not sure if it is Mathew with 2 t's or 1). He was born in County Armagh, July 14, 1831 and died in Renfrew County, Ontario on June 24, 1914. He emigrated from Ireland in 1847 along with his two brothers - Robert and William. They settled in the Ottawa Valley. Mathew married Jane Allison, who was born in Packenham, Ontario on May 10, 1837 or 1838. She died March 30, 1913 in Renfrew County. One of their sons is my grandfather - William Robert Andrews, born July 25, 1870 in Renfrew County. He moved West with his wife, Isabel Moore Andrews to homestead in the Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan area in 1907. He died there on January 9, 1929. My father's name was Milton James Andrews. He was born in Renfrew County, Ontario, January 22, 1898 and died in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in January, 1961. I don't know if this connects with any of your ancestors or not.

I will look through my family history records when my son returns them and see if there is reference to a Thomas anywhere. Good luck with your research.

Regards,
Garry Andrews
